Members of the open water swimming community do all sorts of interesting things during the holiday season:

American pool and open water swimming coach Dave Thomas of USA Swimming [shown above] volunteers as a jolly Santa Claus in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Marathon swimmer Barbara Held worked as a cast member at Disneyland, keeping the visitors and employees safe whether on stage or backstage. “We are all active or retired firefighters and our main function is prevention and safety.”

During the holiday season outside of the pool and open water, International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame Honor Swimmer Yuko Matsuzaki [shown above] has fun dressing up as the Grinch and entertaining the visitors to the Clarion Inn in Orlando, Florida.
