Emily Brunemann, like her male counterpart Thomas Lurz, looks to wrap up her first overall title on the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup professional circuit today.

This will be a season-ending swim for the American post-graduate from Northern Kentucky that saw her be consistently competitive throughout the global series.

In order to win the overall title, she has to place higher than her closest rivals, Ana Marcela Cunha of Brazil and Martina Grimaldi of Italy.
