
Phil White has long organized the Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival in his home state of Vermont. The 11th annual event will be held again this February in the state of Vermont and is the biggest ice swimming event in the United States.
But in the wake of the successful IISA 6th World Championship in Molveno, Italy, Seth Baetzold and Nick Tamble together with Casey McGrath and Mike Miller are organizing another ice swimming competition in the United States: Minnesota Ice Swim and Plunge on February 22 in Lake Johana in Arden Hills, Minnesota about 16 km north of the city of Minneapolis.
