Eilís Burns, An Open Water Swimming Coach

IRELAND. Eilís Burns is a highly sought after open water swimming coach in Sandycove, Ireland.

She is an Irish Masters Swim record holder, the coach of Cork Masters, winner of the seven Hogs 5k open water events in 2010, but her largest contribution is delivered as a marathon swim coach. “Eilís has been one of the critical folks driving the explosion and success of marathon swimming in Cork Ireland since 2004,” explains Ned Denison.

Among her English Channel solo swimmers, her accomplished athletes include includes Lisa Cummins (two-way English Channel), Ned Denison (an International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame inductee) and 12 other swimmers from her area.
