During this morning’s ocean workout with the Open Water Swim Club, all kinds of drafting was going on.

Pods of dolphins were skimming right below the surface of the water while birds above were flying in formation. And hoards of container ships from Asia and elsewhere were waiting outside of Long Beach Harbor, cooling their engines in the Catalina Channel, waiting to unload their cargo, seemingly also in drafting mode.
