Dealing Maximum Damage To SwimStrong

At last weekend’s Lake Travis Relay in Austin, Texas, Maximum Damage upset favored and defending champion SwimStrong with Lance Armstrong.

The Bobby Patten-coached Dallas Aquatics Masters team swam neck-and-neck with SwimStrong trading top positions throughout the 12-mile relay but finally edged ahead for good on the last leg.

The top teams/swimmers included Rory Pilgrim who finished third with a courageous solo swim in 4 hours 23 minutes.

Maximum Damage included swimmers Wyatt Russo, Eney Jones, Bobby Patten, Sarah Avery, Jakub Jiracek, and John Smith.

1. Maximum Damage — 3:49:06
2. SwimStrong — 3:51:04
3. Rory Pilgrim (solo) — 4:23:19
