Cristo Stands Graced With Marine Life

Spread the love

Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) is a statue of Jesus Christ in Brazil. The 30m statute is located at a mountaintop overlooking Rio de Janeiro, standing 700m above the city and shoreline below. The fifth largest statute of Jesus in the world was constructed between 1926 and 1931 and remains one of the symbols of Rio de Janeiro to this day.

An artist decorated the silhouette of Cristo in colors and words celebrating the marine life in the oceans.

Open water swimmers enjoy what we are graced with.
