Cornelia Fowler will represent South Africa at the 2011 World Summer Games in Athens, Greece in the new 1.5K open water swim. She won her division at the aQuellé Midmar Mile and was given her medal by the future princess of Monaco and Olympic pool swimmer Charlene Wittstock.
