One of the biggest disappointments we have among the open water swimming community is swimming into plastics (bags, bottles, debris).

Huntington Harbour in the City of Huntington Beach will add seven trash skimmers along the harbor.

Trash skimmers are partially submerged bins and help remove floating debris or trash from the water’s surface in order to help improve water and ecological quality and enhance the aesthetics of the popular harbor in Southern California.
