The Catalina Channel Swimming Federation reported her crossing, “After being blown out the night before, she landed aboard the Pacific Star on her 36th wedding anniversary with a full moon and a partial lunar eclipse. A happy and determined swimmer, Claire never wavered, completing her Frosted Triple Crown with this swim.
Her husband, accompanied by multiple friends and family, cheered her finish from the cliff tops, then met her at the dock.“

Onboard, she was supported by Cathy Harrington, Diana Corbin, and Rachel Spencer with escort kayak support from David Sundius and Angela Lee with Catalina Channel Swimming Federation observers Don Van Cleve and Sidney Russell.
