Chris Dunn from South Auckland, New Zealand returned to the South Pacific faster and more experienced.
It showed.
Seti Afoa of Samoa Events announced Dunn won the 2019 Male Swimmer of the Year.
In 2019, he returned to the Samoa Swim Series to win its overall title. In a series of close races, he won the 10 km Pacific Open Water Challenge and finished 2nd in the 5 km Pacific Open Water Challenge.
