Cath Pendleton Completes A Zero Ice Mile In Antarctica

On February 22nd, Cath Pendleton from Wales completed a successful Zero Ice Mile in Antarctica in 33 minutes 44 seconds as part of the Antarctica 2020 International Swim under the guidance of Ger Kennedy.

It was amazing, wonderful, pure, stunning, unspoilt, peaceful; [there are] so many words to describe such a magical place,” she wrote about her 8th career Ice Mile (after a 39:16 Ice Mile in Wales, a 35:06 Ice Mile in Ireland, 35:00 and 37:04 Ice Miles in England, a 32:26 Ice Mile in Holland, a 34:07 Ice Mile in Scotland, and a 38:33 Ice Mile in Morocco).

She is sponsored by Source Insurance and Young’s Seafood.
