Carlos Sixto Bravo wrote about a brother, a sister and a friend who completed a 25.1-mile crossing from Santa Catalina Island to San Pedro on the Southern California mainland on September 25th. Their crossing was a charity swim on behalf of Ocean Fever, a non-profit from Hermosa Beach that raises awareness through open water swimming.
