USA Swimming Championships Moved To Cooler Waters

In a decision based on safety and its own recent recommendations, USA Swimming approved a relocation of the 2011 USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships from Fort Myers to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is a change to the 82°F (28°C) waters of Ft. Lauderdale rather than the expected 87°F (31°C) waters of Ft. Myers.
