
Susie Nolan Loiselle, Secretary of the International Ice Swimming Association USA, announced that interested American ice swimmers who wish to represent Team USA at the 2025 IISA Ice Swimming World Championship must submit their request no later than June 15th for team consideration.
The International Ice Swimming Association World Championship will be held in Molveno, Italy, January 13th – 19th, 2025.
The International Ice Swimming Association (IISA) was formed in 2009 by Ram Barkai who outlined a long-term vision to make the Ice Kilometer a new Winter Olympic sport. With the dream of a handful of South African swimmers, the IISA currently holds ice swimming events in 46 countries with 5,480 representatives from 73 countries. Currently, IISA USA launched in 2021 has 335 ice swimmer members.
