Arianna Bridi Win 1st Mediterranean Beach Games

Arianna Bridi won the 5 km open water swim at the 1st Mediterranean Beach Games in Pescara, Italy yesterday in a 6-second victory over fellow Italian Giulia Gabrielleschi.

Bridi won in 59:24.9 with Gabrielleschi second in a very close 59:25.2 and Slovenian swimmer Spela Perse third in 59:25.6 and Italian Barbara Pozzobon in fourth.

The 11-sport Games also includes fin swimming, aquathlon, and a team pursuit 5 km.
