Simon Webb is preparing another sporting event, a 12 km point-to-point open water swim from Penarth Pier to Whitmore Bay in South Wales.
The BIG R SWIM information is here and is the newest addition to the event schedule organized by All or Nothing Events in South Wales. He also organizes the SWYD TRI, the SWYD AQUATHLON, and other open water swims at Whitmore Bay Lifeguard hut on the promenade at Barry Island.
Barry Island (Welsh: Ynys y Barri) is a district, peninsula and seaside resort, forming part of the town of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan. As Webb says, “We put on these events because we love to race ourselves. Meet us on the beach, meet us in the hills, meet us on the open road. We love the great outdoors and we love a challenge. If you love that too then we are a perfect match.”
