In a throwback episode (from June 2012) of Open Water Wednesday (the precursor to WOWSA Live), USA Swimming national team coach Anne Marie Ward spoke with Steven Munatones on a variety of topics.
Ward was the 2010 World Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year and is an inductee of the Hall of Fame – Marathon Swimming Ireland as an Honour Swimmer in its Class of 2019. She also participated in a number of unprecedented swims: the 2006 Round Ireland Swim and the 2013 Bering Strait Swim.
