In the Great Salt Lake in Utah, world record holder Gordon Gridley and many others will participate in the Great Salt Lake Open Water 1-mile point-to-point swim, perfect for beginners and multi-sport athletes, and the longer 8.12-mile swim from Antelope Island to Black Rock Beach.

This race originally started in 1927, but was discontinued after 1940. Now, 71 years later, it is revived.
