An Open Water Swimmer’s Podcast – Season 5 Underway

Season 5 of An Open Water Swimmer’s Podcast, host William Ellis kicked off with interviews of Samantha Farrow (32, Great Britain, MSF bio here) and Sarah Thomas (42, USA, MSF bio here, @sarahswims04).

Farrow completed a 72.8 km crossing Lake Geneva in 2024 in 22 hours 48 minutes to set the women’s record. A lake specialist, she has also swum Lake Windermere, Lake Bala, Loch Awe, Loch Ness, and Loch Lomond.

As host Ellis describes Thomas, “This lady needs no introduction having swum the only quadruple English Channel and she was the first person to swim a double North Channel.”
