
Phil White of the Kingdom Games announced the new NEKOWSA Champion of Champions Challenge on July 6th 2024 in collaboration with BrynnSwim.
He explains, “The brainchild of Charlotte Brynn, the swim is based on the British Champion of Champions. We will offer three back-to-back stage swims.
The Challenge starts with a 10.46 km swim. Swimmers then next tackle a 5.63 km swim around three islands, and then 3.22 km to Bell Island and back for a total of 19.31 km in Lake Memphremagog. 11 swimmers have already signed up for this inaugural swim. we have room for 9 more swimmers.”

The event starts at The Clubhous on Derby Bay in Lake Memphremagog in Derby, Vermont, USA
- 9:00 am 10.46 km swim around Province Island
- 1:30 pm 5.63 km swim around Bell Island, Black Island, and Cove Island
- 4:00 pm swim to Bell Island and back
- 6:00 pm BBQ at The Clubhous

The Original Champion of Champions
The Champion of Champions is a British Long Distance Swimming Association race that includes three separate races of 1 mile, 3 miles and 5 miles performed on the same day one race after the other. The winner is the fastest overall cumulative time.
Similar events are also held in different places throughout the UK, in Aquatic Park in San Francisco Bay, California, and elsewhere.
