Penny Palfrey’s ground team in America has announced her press conference on her 103-mile attempt from Cuba to Florida will be held Thursday at the Hemingway Marina in Havana with a tentative start scheduled for Friday morning.
Her escort boat is charging towards Havana, Cuba from Key West, Florida with reportedly all systems go.
Fans can predict how many hours she will take to swim the Florida Strait at the Daily News of Open Water Swimming.
Her team will begin to communicate via Facebook and GPS once she starts from Havana on Friday.
