The year 2010 was and continues to be unbelievable in the world of open water swimming. There were inspirational people swimming everywhere from the Beagle Channel between Chile and Argentina, the Kaieiewaho Channel between Kauai and Oahu, the English Channel, on Mount Everest, from Japan to Canada to Madiera Island.
Outstanding efforts all. But everyone takes their first stroke, their first swim, their first marathon (of any distance) at one time.
