

The 23.5-hour Lake Superior Relay was a 48-mile eco-swimming relay across Lake Superior from near Split Rock Lighthouse to Duluth, Minnesota in August 2023.
The Great Lake swimmers included Karen Zemlin, Craig Collins, Casey McGrath, Seth Baetzold, Mike Miller, and Jeff Everett who collective goal was to raise awareness of the impact of climate change on Lake Superior.
Baetzold informed us that their relay was the subject of a PBS documentary film. See below.
