The 5K race at the South American Beach Games (Primeros Juegos Suramericanos de Playa) was held in very cold water in Montevideo Uruguay yesterday.
Race results for the 5K and 10K races will be reported shortly.
Athletes from Netherland Antilles, Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Surinam, Uruguay and Venezuela competed.
