Alan Nosov (15, Russia, World Aquatics bio here) cruised to a 37-second victory in the 14-15 year boy’s 5 km race at the 2026 World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships in Santa Fe, Argentina held this morning.

Sawyer Hansen (15, USA, World Aquatics bio here) finished second, replicating the medal won earlier in the day by his sister  Brinkleigh Hansen (16, USA, World Aquatics bio here) in the girls 16-17 year 7.5 km race. Ibrahim Burhan (15, Turkey, World Aquatics bio here) finished third.
