
The 2026 World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup is held in four sites:
- Somabay, Egypt on March 27th and 28th with a mixed 4x1500m relay + 10 km races
- Ibiza, Spain on April 24th and 25th with 3 km Knockout Sprints + 10 km races
- Golfo Aranci, Italy on May 1st and 2nd with a mixed 4x1500m relay, 3 km Knockout Sprints, and 10 km races
- Setúbal Bay, Portugal on June 20th and 21st
The best of the best will compete on this four-race series – and the race officials will also include the best of the best.
Sylvie Potvin of Canada [shown above] will serve as the World Aquatics referee on the World Cup Circuit in Somabay, Egypt. Neal Marcano of Trinidad and Tobago will serve in Ibiza, Spain. John Fox of the USA will serve in Golfo Aranci, Italy and Hector Acevedo of the USA will serve in Setúbal, Portugal. These technical officials will serve on the 2026 World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup circuit to ensure the fairness and safety of each World Cup race.
Ginevra Taddeucci of Italy and Logan Fontaine of France won the 2025 World Cup series.
