Listening and Learning from Someone Who Dramatically Changed His Life

Spread the love

Adam Walker was not happy in his old job. He did not see a bright future in what he was doing. He was not encouraged with his future prospects.

But one day he learned about the Oceans Seven.

Swimming across seven channels around the world was a catalyst for a significant change in the trajectory of his life. His drive to accomplish the Oceans Seven – and the redirection of his talents, passion, and energy took Walker in an entirely different direction.

After completing the 35 km North Channel, his seventh channel to wrap up the Oceans Seven in August 2014, Walker then wrote a book, continued motivational speaking to groups, and ultimately built and founded the Ocean Walker Academy & Wellbeing Centre in Lincolnshire Wolds, England in 2021.

His journey was like no other – and his journey of exploration, adventure, and inspiration continues.

Walker explains one telling episode, “After 13.5 hours of constant swimming attempting to swim across the [Molokai Channel] from Molokai to Oahu, I was stung by a Portuguese man o war. I lost feeling in my spine and had to drag my body through the water for another 3.5 hours to complete the swim. I faced sharks, exhaustion and incredible pain.

My focus on achieving the end goal was so clear leading up to that swim that there was no other option but to complete it. I manifested the success and pain was part of the process. The goal was stronger than any pain I could ever go through, so when it happened I was ready to go through it.

Walker is currently undertaking a series of talks around the world. If you or your group, university, or corporation are looking for a thoroughly entertaining and motivational speaker, email oceanwalkeruk@gmail.com to begin a conversation that can change lives.
