Bethanie Mitchell, A Written-Audio-Visual Open Water Artist

Bethanie Mitchell is a documentary photographer, visual journalist, educator, author, former competitive swimmer, and an open water swimmer currently residing in Seattle, Washington. Her photojournalism has been represented by SIPA Press while her work appears in print and online publications.

She has created and produced Poseidon’s Blessing (about Kirby Drawbaugh), The Silver Seals )about an unprecedented 16.7 km relay in the Salish Sea by Martin Adams, Scott Lautman, Rachel Price, Greg Rolnick, Michael Palmer, Zena Courtney, and observer Stephanie Zimmerman), and Winter Swimmers of the Salish Sea.
