The Bali Swim4Kids Ocean Swim will be held on July 4th at Kuta Beach, one of Indonesia’s most developed and popular tourist locations.
The first-time charity event includes 1.2K and 5K races under the supervision of the Balawista Surf Lifesaving Group.
Similar to other island nations around the world where relatively few people learn how to swim, drownings are a common occurrence. Bali Swim4Kids is an initiative that provides swimming and water safety lessons for the average and underprivileged children on Bali. The money from the Bali Ocean Swim will be used to conduct swim lessons at local pools and at the beach for children from low-income families.
