The Six Swans A Swimming relay team made their English Channel crossing in 11 hours and 57 minutes.
The Six Swans A Swimming raised funds for the Kent Air Ambulance Trust. “For us, completing the crossing itself is enough of a challenge, but the fun of a [relay] race adds a degree of pressure to avoid complete humiliation.”
The team includes Bryn Dymott, Piers Dingemans, Sarah Tunnicliffe, Tom Reed, Andy Fitt and Graham Hiom – who were not humilitated, but rather inspirational as they have raised £5,585 to date en route to their charity donation target of £6,000.
