Jessica Roux, who has been winning a slew of races in her native South Africa, continued her winning ways in the 5K race at the 10th Senior African Swimming Championships in Casablanca, Morocco. Jessica finished in 45:02 over Morocco’s Sara el Bekri (46:28) and Algeria’s Malya Mgehezzi Bakhouche (46:30).

On the men’s side, Egypt’s Hadeil Mohamed won a very close battle over South Africa’s Daniel Marais, 40:50.36 to 40:51.31 with South Africa’s Abdul-Malick Railoun third in 41:33.12.
