In Memory Of Fran Crippen

Spread the love

Using the power of the media and social networks, the worldwide swimming community is simultaneously celebrating the memory of Fran Crippen on Saturday, October 30 from 9:00am – 9:30 am at the closest body of water (ocean, sea, lake, river, bay, estuary, fjord, channel, canal, lagoon, lido, reservoir, dam, tributary).

More than 21,000 people have shown they care on the In Memory of Fran Crippen Facebook page with several thousands around the world expected to take part in their own ways to participate in this global event.

The organizers are asking people to release fresh rose petals or any flower in their closest open body of water exactly at 9:00 am New York time in a moment of silence and capture the moment on camera and upload it to In Memory of Fran Crippen Facebook Page.
