Shelley Taylor-Smith is turning her passion for open water swimming towards 39 Solo Rotto swimmers who will compete in the Rottnest Channel Swim on February 26.

At the 2010 Global Open Water Swimming Conference in Long Beach, California, Shelley kept a room of accomplished channel swimmers, marathon swimmers, open water swimmers, coaches, doctors, writers, parents, officials and administrators enthralled for an hour with her colorful descriptions of the trials, obstacles and issues she faced -and overcame – both on land and in the water. Her explanations were both inspirational and entertaining. A master of motivation.
