While the pool swimming Olympic finals will revert to the evening finals, a change of pace from Beijing, the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim will remain a daytime spectacle. The women’s Olympic 10K Marathon Swim will be held on August 9th while the men’s race will be on August 10th towards the end of the 2012 Olympics that will run from July 27th to August 12th.
