The 2011 European Masters Swimming Championships will be held in Yalta-Kiev, Ukraine on September 10th.
The 3K events for men and women will be seeded in waves according to age groups, irrespective of gender. LEN organizes well-established events where the Head Referee only allows the race to start if security requirements are met. Additionally, the Referee may be overruled by the Technical Delegate who can shorten the distance of the event due to weather conditions, water temperature and/or if the security requirements are not fulfilled.
