English Channel, Molokai Channel, Catalina Channel and Manhattan Island Marathon swimmer Michael Miller of Honolulu training on the south and north shores of Oahu and picks up fishing weights along the way. He can’t help himself and has picked up quite a collection over the years.

“I have even collected a few anchors. It has taken me quite a while to bring the anchors to shore, but I did it.”

Michael explains below of some of his more unusual trophies. He swims, he sees, he dives, he puts the fishing weight in his swimsuit and then adds to his collection.
