Scott Ragsdale Experiencing Euphoric Misery

Spread the love

On Scott Ragsdale‘s corporate website, he states, “The man at the top of the mountain did not fall there.”

After his successful crossing of the English Channel, we can also extrapolate his mountaineering observation to the open water world, “The marathon swimmer on the other side of the channel did not ferry over there.”

But the multi-cultural, multi-lingual endurance athlete from Nebraska who now lives in Dubai and who has traveled to more than 90 countries has really stepped up his mantra and goal of euphoric misery this week.

He is on his 7th full Ironman triathlon done in 7 consecutive days. His naseba seven endurance challenge must be, indeed, a mixture of euphoria and misery. Before he completed his 14 hour 11 minute English Channel swim, he said, “I want to experience the cold, pain, and suffering and see if I am mentally and physically strong enough to make this happen.”

He did and he was.
