Zhang Jian coached Ge Yu across the Changyang Qingjiang area for 19 hours 44 minutes and 65.79 km on September 9th.

He attempted to set a record in the Qingjiang River.

But the young 19-year-old Yu was stopped short of his goal when stomach cramps prevented him from going on to break the record of 69 km.
