Researchers have discovered how to generate useable power from living organisms.
A lobster has an output of 12 microwatts when enzyme-coated sheets of carbon nanotubes serve as electrodes that are implanted in the lobster’s back. The output is equal to one-third of the voltage of a AAA battery.
