Nominees for the World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) awards (WOWSA Open Water Swimming Man of the Year, WOWSA Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year, WOWSA Open Water Swimming Performance of the Year, and WOWSA Open Water Swimming Offering of the Year) will be announced in early November.

The competition and scope of the nominees are mind-boggling this year. Month after month, from the Southern Hemisphere to the Northern Hemisphere, swimmers have been accomplishing remarkable achievements in the open water.
