Going into the last race on the 2012 FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup series, Spyridon Gianniotis of Greece was comfortably leading Christian Reichert of Germany and Evgeny Drattsev of Russia in the overall series point totals for the season.

When FINA gets around to announcing the results of this weekend’s race in China and the final series point totals, we will know the season-ending rankings of the fastest marathon swimmers in the world.
