Kristina Evelyn describes the new festivals organized by SwimBarbadosVacations in Barbados, “Swim in the warm waters of the Caribbean in two open water swim festivals held on July 6-7th and October 26-27th.

There are two events during each weekend festival: a 1.5 km swim on Saturday morning and a 5 km swim on Sunday morning, both held in Bridgetown’s Carlisle Bay.

Carlisle Bay is a beautiful natural harbour and marine park is a picturesque crescent-shaped bay bordered by a long white sand beach.”

SwimBarbadosVacations organizes open water swim events in Barbados and promotes them to recreational open water swimmers around the world. For the whole package, SwimBarbadosVacations also helps visitors make hotel and ground transportation rentals through its website (www.swimbarbadosvacations.com).

And the price is right: entry fees are BDS$40 or US$20 per race or BDs$70 or US$35 for both races.
