What is so cool about this video is how the only two men in history – Ted Erikson and Stewart Evans – helped each other, pushed each other, rivals and compatriots, to swim between the Farallon Islands and the mainland of California. Not since 1967 has any other individual replicated their feat, one of the most difficult challenges possible in the open water swimming world.
