Paolo Barelli, president of the Italian Swimming Federation and the European Swimming League, and the Honorary Secretary of FINA recently met in Azerbaijan to discuss the 1st European Games to be held in 2015.
The 2015 European Games will feature junior competitions in all aquatics disciplines except open water swimming.
On the international scene, Azerbaijan has put its stamp on the open water swimming community.
Azerbaijan’s most elite open water swimming representatives, Inha Kotsur, Sergiy Fesenko (shown above), and Anastasiya Zhidkova, have always conducted themselves with professionalism and passion in the international open water swimming competitions.
