Samuel Neri of Mexico completed his Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming on September 3rd.

After two successful Catalina Channel crossings in 2011 and 2013, a Manhattan Island Marathon Swim circumnavigation in 2011, and this month’s English Channel swim of 17 hours 32 minutes, the Mexican attorney from Mexico City joined 79 other individuals on the Triple Crown list.

Neri successfully completed the Catalina Channel from Catalina Island to the California mainland in 2011 in 13 hours 44 minutes, and again this year in July in 12 hours 29 minutes. He completed the 2011 Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 9 hours 6 minutes, and completed the English Channel in 17 hours 32 minutes.
