Wendy Trehiou certainly made an impressionable mark on us at the Global Open Water Swimming Conference in Cork, Ireland. With a broad smile so wonderful, a laugh so contagious, and a depth of conviction so empowering that it is clear what help drive her back to health after a bout with breast cancer.

The Jersey native possesses a competitive spirit that helped her complete 4 English Channel crossings including this year’s 2-way 39 hour 9 minute crossing that she commemorated via a tattoo on her foot.
