It has been a long time since two-time Olympic medalist and 6-time world professional marathon swimming champion John Kinsella has stood among the marathon swimming crowd.

But that all changed this weekend in Cork, Ireland when the most dominant figure of marathon swimming of the 1970’s came out to introduce his old coach, mentor, and friend Don Watson as an Honour Administrator of the Class of 2013 at the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.

His heartfelt words touched many as did the efforts and passion of his old Coach Watson.
