The human aerial art of thousands of schoolchildren is now part of the national promotion of the Ministry of Culture in China.
The poster on left is from Ocean Recovery Alliance‘s aerial art from 2012. The dolphin image was created as part of the Kids Ocean Day on Repulse Bay Beach in Hong Kong. The image was replicated and is now showcased at the Beijing Airport promoting the theme of ‘Beautiful China’.
With the help of the Malibu Foundation and guidance from Spectral Q from California, the aerial art is based on original drawings from children in Hong Kong. Their individual hand-written drawings were converted to a large scale aerial art image on the beach by artist John Quigley.
