Before the professional marathon swims, the competitors usually eat together and, unsurprisingly, enjoy each other’s company.
It is wonderful to see the swimmers before a race eating together, sharing stories, helping each other, SnapChatting, texting, photographing each other, encouraging each other, exchanging information and wishing each other good luck.
